This ammo is loaded with 40 grain full metal jacket bullets. It’s not a magic FMJ. It will not expand after hitting a varmint, although its flat nose profile will transfer cripping energy on impact and excavate a broad and highly harmful wound channel immediately afterward. In addition to promoting straight, deep penetration, the FMJ’s flat nose promotes safe and reliable operation in semi-automatic, lever-action and pump-action firearms alike.

Winchester’s clean-burning propellant and sensitive primers team up to produce a predictable muzzle velocity of 1,910 fps. Zero in at 100 yards and drop should be about -6.0” at 150 yards. That conveys the kind of accuracy you can put to good use whether you’re smacking steel or fighting off chipmunks!
