Winchester didn’t reinvent the 45 ACP when they designed this USA series cartridge, either. Practically speaking, it's the same kind of ammo you would have gotten issued if you’d boarded a boat to Normandy in 1944.

This cartridge is loaded with a classic 230 grain full metal jacket: just a dense lead core ensconced in a copper-alloy jacket. It’s nonmagnetic. It’s got precisely the round nose profile all semi-automatics like to feed, from 1911s to AR-45s. It’s backed by the low-residue propellant it needs in order to hit a muzzle velocity of 835 fps – subsonic, like every other 45 ACP load on the market (save for a few oddball exceptions with unusually light bullets).

Winchester’s own headstamped brass cases are brand new and reloadable, and armed with Boxer primers that spark up reliably and never cause rusting. At the end of the day, you only need one reason to order this ammo: you want to plink or rough up range targets with your favorite forty-five.
