This round’s hard cast bullet features Underwood’s Black Cherry coating. Do not taste it. It is a polymer shell which protects against gas cutting, eliminates lead-to-bore contact, and does not emit a burning plastic smell during ignition. The Black Cherry coating also reduces friction, thus preserving the barrel. Underwood explicitly states that this round’s bullet will safely function with a Glock barrel’s polygonal rifling.
