Tula - Full Metal Jacket - 148 Grain 7.62x54r Ammo - 500 Rounds

This 7.62x54r cartridge is perfect for any Mosin-Nagant, AVS-36, Winchester Model 1895, Alejandro sniper rifle, Dragunov SVU, or Berkut-2M1 capable of chambering it. The key feature of a Tula round is its casing, which is made of steel rather than conventional brass. It’s far more economical for not containing any rare copper, and the primary tradeoff for that perk is that it’s not reloadable. This round’s primer is a non-corrosive Berdan, which means the casing has two flash holes and is even less suitable for reloading because of them.

This round sports a 148 grain projectile, the same weight that the 57-N-323S designation calls for. It’s decked out in a simple full metal jacket, hard enough to promote efficient feeding and a cleaner barrel over the course of a shooting session, and evenly applied for good balance in flight. Such a bullet doesn’t expand in soft tissue -- but it’s by no means good for soft tissue, either.
