Tela Impex is an importer based down in the Sunshine State. They sourced these AK-74 range loads from all the way over in Azerbaijan. We’re not too familiar with the place. We’re sure it has beautiful scenery and delicious cuisine. What we are also sure of is this: the Eastern European country makes 5.45x39 just like their Russian neighbors up north.

This ammo is loaded with budget-friendly non-reloadable steel cases, noncorrosive Berdan primers, and 65 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Take note that each FMJ does have a bimetal jacket, though. It’s a soft steel shell with a thin copper exterior, which means it’s going to attract a magnet. Quite a few ranges have banned “magnetic” bullets because they pose a higher chance of creating sparks and damaging equipment, so you should definitely ask your range if they’re cool with this ammo before going ahead and ordering a whole bunch of it!
