This ammo is designed to dramatically reduce its shooter’s exposure to toxic lead vapor. It’s all about the bullet: a total metal jacket, with a lead core that is completely sealed away by its all-encompassing copper-alloy jacket. When red-hot ignition blasts the bullet down the barrel, it will vaporize zero percent of the bullet’s lead core in the process!

This round’s 147 grain bullet is a heavyweight, and accordingly achieves a low 985 fps muzzle velocity (4” barrel). Its subsonic velocity and clean-shooting bullets make this ammo optimal for a suppressed firearm.

Speer’s Lawman ammo is manufactured in Idaho with clean-burning powder, reloadable brass cases, and noncorrosive Boxer primers. There is a tiny amount of lead inside each primer, which is why this ammo can’t completely eliminate your exposure to the heavy metal.
