Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point Cutting Edge(SPCE) - 180 Grain 300 Winchester Magnum Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The 300 Winchester was developed in 1963 from necking down a .375 H&H Magnum to accept the popular 7.62 (.30 caliber) bullet for creating a versatile cartridge capable of being loaded to a great many variety of pressures and bullet types. In 2009 the caliber was selected by both US military and domestic police departments as a preferred sniper and tactical rifle caliber offering superior performance to both .308 Winchester and even .30-06 Springfield. The 180 grain soft point cutting edge bullet by Sellier & Bellot has a nominal muzzle velocity of 3,146 feet per second with 3972 foot pounds (that’s almost two tons!) of energy. This is a premier hunting and defense round that trades tumbling in the wound for direct penetration and consistent expansion to provide reliable knock down power without causing extra distress in the game hunted.
While Sellier & Bellot is well known for production of less common calibers, and doing so in quality brass, reloadable cases, they are also one of the few manufacturers of soft point cutting edge bullets for discerning hunters and sportsmen. The materials alone make S&B a worthy choice for this purpose specific cartridge.
