Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point Cutting Edge(SPCE) - 173 Grain 7x57R Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Note: this is the RIMMED cartridge. The 7x57mm Mauser was developed in 1892 and was adopted by Spain and many other Spanish speaking nations thereafter as the primary military caliber. It is among the most famous and longest lasting of the first generation “small bore” smokeless powder cartridges. The rimmed version, designed for better extraction out of break action rifles used for sporting and target shooting, especially in the plethora of combination guns that many gunsmiths produced in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The 173 grain soft point cutting edge bullet by Sellier & Bellot has a muzzle velocity of 2370 feet per second with 2171 foot pounds of energy. Not just for target shooting, this cartridge is ideal for keeping those sporting rifles active and in the field well into yet another century.
Sellier & Bellot is among the premium ammunition providers of esoteric or less common calibers in the world. This makes sense as the company has been in business for almost two hundred years and has at one time or another manufactured every caliber that was ever mass produced. Cases are brass with boxer primers for further use, not an inconsequential notion given the rarity of this caliber.
