Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point - 240 Grain 44 Magnum Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
In the 1950's pistol hand loaders began working to find more power out of their handgun cartridges. The most famous of whom, Elmer Keith, stretched the case of the .44 Special to create what is now known as the .44 Magnum. While surpassed by more modern calibers such as the .454 Casull, the .44 Magnum remains a favorite among big bore shooters today. Capable of use as a short range hunting round for all North American game, albeit with considerable recoil – many hunters find the use of the round in a rifle or carbine to be more manageable. Sellier & Bellot's 240 grain jacketed soft point (JSP) bullet has a muzzle velocity of 1181 feet per second with over 743 foot pounds of energy. It was designed for impressive penetration with equal attention given to expansion and is therefore both an effective defense and hunting round.
Czech manufacturer Sellier & Bellot has been in the ammunition business since the 1820's making components at first then full cartridges into the 20th century. As such S&B has a long and proud tradition of making a quality product that American shooters have come to recognize. The brass cases are boxer primed and fully reloadable for additional value.
