Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point - 180 Grain 303 British Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The smokeless powder version of the .303 Enfield was adopted by the United Kingdom in 1891 as the second generation of the Brit’s small bore military rifle calibers. Since then, it has been used in every major conflict by British and Commonwealth troops up to and through the 1960’s. The prevalence of the many Enfield variants have led to many of them being sporterized all over the world for hunting, and the acceptance of the round as suitable for anything up to large non dangerous game has made it popular in several modern sporting rounds as well. It is one of the few rimmed bottle neck cartridges still in production. Sellier & Bellot’s 180 grain soft point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 2382 feet per second with approximately 2600 foot pounds of energy. It is well regarded as an acceptable hunting cartridge on every continent for all but the most dangerous of game.
European and colonial sportsmen have long been familiar with the Sellier & Bellot brand of ammunition, which has been more or less constantly providing munitions production since the 1820’s. Well regarded for dependable reliability and the reusability of cases, S&B’s reputation has only been confirmed by sport shooters in the US as well.
