Sellier & Bellot - Soft Point - 150 Grain 303 British Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
During seven decades of service in the British Commonwealth armed forces, the .303 Enfield, or 7.7mmx56R has served in perhaps the greatest battle rifle of the early 20th century. Initially introduced as a black powder rifle round in 1888, it was quickly reissued in a smokeless powder variant in 1891. The cartridge went through several other variations over the years, including the adoption then renunciation of expanding or “dum-dum” bullets that were finally pushed out of service at the end of the Second Boer War. The 150 grain soft point bullet by Sellier & Bellot has a muzzle velocity of 2654 feet per second with 2347 foot pounds of energy. This is a perfect hunting round for any of the older sporting guns or thousands of surplus Enfields, sporterized or original that still surface at shows.
Sellier & Bellot is a manufacturer of both common and more esoteric cartridges necessary for shooting surplus and older designs safely. S&B has been in the munitions business for almost 200 years and in that time they have built a reputation on providing a reliable product on reloadable cases, a definite plus for shooters who like to keep their surplus firearms in use at the range or in the field.
