Sellier & Bellot - Full Metal Jacket - 85 Grain 7.62mm Tokarev Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Developed in 1930 by the Soviets to dimensionally identical to the 7.63 Mauser round, the 7.62 Tokarev is loaded to considerably higher pressure and should not be fired out of anything other than Tokarev rated firearms. While the TT30 and TT33 pistols had some teething issues, the cartridge itself was a very potent round, especially out of the PPSh sub machine guns. The 85 grain full metal jacket round by Sellier & Bellot exits the muzzle at 1647 feet per second with 512 foot pounds of energy. This is considerably more than the 9mm Luger or 9mm Makarov that ultimately replaced it in military service. This product is perfect for range training and target practice. Considerable care, however, should definitely be used if considering as a defense round given its energy.
S&B, or Sellier & Bellot have made a worldwide reputation on making ammunition in calibers that are not the run of the mill. Acknowledged producers of obsolete military and hunting calibers, S&B corners that part of the market with standard of excellence. Their attention to quality extends to the fully reloadable brass cases for those looking to handload these calibers to their own specifications.
