Sellier & Bellot - Full Metal Jacket - 50 Grain 25 Auto Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
The .25 Automatic Colt Pistol cartridge was the smallest caliber designed by John Moses Browning with the intention of being used in a direct blowback pistol design. Introduced in 1905, the .25 finds itself in the same category of the .22 Long Rifle, but at a higher cost with less variety of bullet types. Where the .25 ACP excels, however, is in being a centerfire which is considerably more reliable than the rimfire, making this a better choice for the vest pistols that were becoming popular at the start of the 20th century. The 50 grain full metal jacketed round by Sellier & Bellot has a muzzle velocity of 781 feet per second with 68 foot pounds of energy. It is perfect for target shooting with the antique pocket pistol or training with your hold out.
Sellier & Bellot's reputation for quality ammunition manufacture is two centuries old. Though located in Bohemia all that time, S&B's quality of manufacture and components has been well received by US shooters, especially in regard to the boxer primed reloadable cases that offer additional value. A not inconsequential consideration for this less common caliber.
