Sellier & Bellot - #00 Buck - 000 Buck 410 Gauge Ammo - 500 Rounds
Details
Thanks to the introduction of the .410 revolver by Taurus and Smith & Wesson, the 2.5” .410 shot shell has received a new lease on life. Formally used for not much more than rabbit hunting in shotguns that were often made for youth shooters, the .410 that was originally introduced in 1857 has rejoined the ranks of personal defense cartridges capable of delivering multiple hits per shot fired. This 000 buckshot round by S&B delivers three .36 caliber pellets at a muzzle velocity of up to 1400 feet per second. At close range this is the equivalent of three .32 caliber bullets per shot and is therefor a very popular choice for use as a self defense round in either the .410 chambered revolvers or home shotgun. Additionally, it can be used for small to medium game, though care should be taken to ensure close range. This 500 round case is capable of providing enough shells for any and all applicable purposes.
An increasingly popular choice in the United States, S&B has been well recognized by European sportsmen since the 1820s. The quality components, including boxer primed shells, keep the company well established at the start of what will be there third century of production.
