This ammo’s 158 grain lead round nose projectiles lack copper jackets. Upside? You can shoot steel targets with a greatly reduced risk of splashback ruining your day. Downside? Faster fouling of the barrel. The LRN lacks the capacity for terminal expansion, but the same holds true for the LRN as it does any other bullet: we sure as heck wouldn’t want to get shot with it.
This ammo’s steady muzzle velocity is the work of Remington’s tried and true noncorrosive Kleanbore primers and low-residue smokeless propellant. Remington’s Arkansas factory spits out crackerjack brass cases for handloading. Don’t handload? Start! But still order just as much ammo as you normally would … from us.
