Remington - Full Metal Jacket - 180 Grain 10mm Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Remington's 10mm ammo is a great choice when you're looking for a cheap round to get in some serious trigger time at the range. The 180 grain full metal jacket 10mm by Remington has a muzzle velocity of 1150 feet per second and just under 530 foot pounds of muzzle energy. It is designed for target shooting and training purposes, equipped with an FMJ bullet that is not designed to expand when it comes in contact with a soft target.
The 10mm Auto was designed by Jeff Cooper in 1983. In 1989 it was briefly adopted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to replace the then in service calibers that were deemed to be underperforming. The 10mm Auto, however, proved to be too powerful for many agents, and the rank and file agents were issued a smaller compromise round, the .40 S&W. The 10mm nevertheless continues to be used by the FBI Hostage Rescue Team and has found a loyal following among competition and defense shooters throughout the country. The round is also prized as a back up caliber for big game hunters who require additional defense in the field.
For over 200 years Remington has been a name with a proud tradition of quality and dependability. That tradition is extended to their line of ammunition, which for the last 35 years has been manufactured in the Lonoke, Arkansas plant. Nickel plated brass cases with boxer primers are perfectly adequate for reloading, bringing additional value to the consumer.
