Remington - Full Metal Jacket - 130 Grain 38 Special Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Remington's 38 special ammo is loaded with a 130 grain full metal jacket flat nose bullet that has a muzzle velocity of 790 feet per second and over 170 foot pounds of energy. It is ideal for target shooting in both outdoor and indoor ranges. The flat nose bullet is also ideal for carbines with tube magazines.
Remington has been a pillar of the American shooting community for over 200 years. Remington ammunition has been produced in their Lonoke, Arkansas plant for over 35 years. The green and white labeling is a familiar sight in ranges and is recognized for superior quality and reliability. These cartridges are brass cased with boxer primers and are therefore fully reloadable for additional purchasing value.
The .38 Special Smith & Wesson cartridge continues to be popular over a century after its creation. It was created as an improvement over the .38 Colt then in military service and found to be somewhat unsatisfactory in stopping power. The .38 Special was quickly adopted as a secondary sidearm caliber. Law enforcement adopted the round from the 1920s to the 1990s. Its manageable recoil continues to be appreciated by shooters as an introductory centerfire training round and general defense caliber.
