Remington - Core Lokt Pointed Soft Point - 180 Grain 30-06 Ammo - 200 Rounds
Details
During the 1890's, the US military went from the .30-40 Krag to the .30-03 rifle cartridge, both of which used the same round nosed .30 caliber bullet. Yet after 1903, the US became aware of the German's research with the pointed, spitzer bullet and looked at loading such a projectile into the .30-03 case. The result was the .30-06, a cartridge that far and exceeded the ballistic requirements of every military. Today, after its retirement from military service for more moderate performing cartridges, the .30-06 is still sought after by sportsmen as a hard hitting, flat shooting rifle round. Remington's pointed soft point (PSP) bullet has a muzzle velocity of 2700 feet per sec and hits with over 2900 ft pounds of energy. The Core Lokt delivers optimum expansion for full delivery of its energy into the target.
The name of Remington in the US firearms world is almost as old as the US nation itself. Their products are synonymous with superior quality, especially when it comes to ammunition. Brass with boxer primers, Remington cases are perfect for reloading. But this lot of 200 rounds is perfect for zeroing in before the next season and having enough on hand for some friends. Or for keeping for yourself.
