Remington - Core Lokt Pointed Soft Point - 150 Grain 7mm Remington Magnum Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Introduced in 1962, the 7mm Remington Magnum was derived from the .375 H&H Magnum with a smaller bullet for improved ballistics. The other caliber the 7mm RemMag was meant to replace, and did, was the 264 Winchester Magnum. Providing better ballistics with lighter bullets than the .30-06 Springfield, this cartridge became a very popular sporting round in North America as well as for game hunters elsewhere. The 150 grain Core Lokt bullet by Remington has a muzzle velocity of 3110 feet per second with 3221 foot pounds of energy. That is over 1.5 tons. Core Lokt by Remington delivers consistently controlled expansion to 2x the diameter after penetration into the target and is unsurprisingly a favored hunting round.
Since 1816, the Remington name has been associated with American sporting arms and a sense of dependable quality. The green and yellow branding is instantly recognizable to shooters and hunters for consistent performance under any circumstances. As always, Remington ammo is also produced on brass cases with boxer primers for additional value in reloading presses, not an unusual activity with shooters of this caliber looking to create their perfect cartridge for their specific needs.
