Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 55 Grain 223 Remington Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The .223 Remington was the product of US military interest in creating a small, hypervelocity rifle cartridge that would allow the soldier to carry more rounds per pound. Developed in the late 1950’s and released in 1963 for civilian use, it was adopted the following year with the Army’s adoption of the M16. Despite its small size the bullet delivered awe inspiring results at close to medium range with strong potential for accuracy at medium to long range. The civilian hunting version of the caliber has been rated for everything from small game at long range to medium sized deer at closer distances. The 55 grain soft point bullet by PRVI has a muzzle velocity of 3248 feet per second with 1283 foot pounds of energy. It is a perfect option for both dedicated sporting rifles and switching the military style rifle over to hunting where allowed by local laws.
In 1922 the new nation of Yugoslavia was founded along with its own means to defend itself. PRVI was established as the state’s first munitions maker and has served reliably through the rest of the century, even supplying partisan forces against the German occupation in WWII. Cases are brass with boxer primers for more value to shooters who reload for their own custom cartridges.
