Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 45 Grain 22 Hornet Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
Introduced in 1930, the .22 Hornet is a bottle necked, rimmed cartridge that became the highest performing .22 caliber cartridge for decades until the introduction of the FN 5.7x28. It is a reloadable cartridge capable of various loadings for applications from target shooting to hunting varmints and larger game. It is also the caliber that was selected by the US Air Force for use in their M4/M6 and AR5 survival rifles: in which the usage of expanding bullets for a military arm was in direct contravention of the Geneva Convention. As a result, boxes of the ammunition were specifically marked for hunting purposes only. The 45 grain soft point bullet by PRVI leaves the muzzle at 2427 feet per second with 589 foot pounds of energy. This is a hunting round but is also good for use as a target shooting round for such a rare caliber these days.
PRVI Partizan continues delivering ammunition for calibers that US manufacturers fail to focus on which is good news for owners of these older, reliable guns. Made to the same exacting standards that the Serbian military demands, quality control is a surety. Boxer primed cases are the icing on the cake for those who have resorted to handloading their own rounds to insure they can still get shooting time in at the range or in the field.
