Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 180 Grain 7.65 ARG Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Paul Mauser worked on the 7.65X53mm cartridge in the pursuit of an optimal performing round with smokeless powder in 1889. Developed for use in the new pattern 1889 and then 1891 Model Mausers, the caliber became a standard Belgian service round, but is more commonly known as the 7.65 Argentine as it remained in service with country’s military up to the 1970’s. It is not a common commercial sporting round, though it is often seen in “sporterized” conversions of military surplus rifles since those rifles were relatively inexpensive, once upon a time. The 180 grain soft point bullet by Partizan has a muzzle velocity of 2542 feet per second with 2588 foot pounds of energy. It is made primarily for the purpose of deer hunting with the aforesaid conversion rifles, or for use at the range to keep the originals happily banging away.
For collectors who enjoy taking pieces of their collections to the range and showing up the “youngins” with their modern plastic guns, PRVI Partizan ammunition is one of the best things in the world. Made to the demanding standards of the Serbian military, PRVI offers affordable trigger time with time tested standardized bullets and non-corrosive primers and powder.
