Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 150 Grain 7.62x54r Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Russia’s longest serving military round, the 7.62x54 rimmed cartridge was adopted in 1891 along with the Mosin-Nagant service rifle. It is one of the few military cartridges that is still in standard use by any military. It is also one of the few bottle necked rimmed cartridges still in general use by sportsmen. With the massive numbers of Nagant rifle produced, by Russia, the People’s Republic of China and other former Warsaw Pact nations, the use of this cartridge is not likely to be discontinued any time soon. The SVD sniper rifle is also chambered in this caliber. Additionally, there are several commercial arms chambered in this caliber. The 150 grain soft point bullet by PRVI has a muzzle velocity of 2837 feet per second with 2626 foot pounds of energy. This is a rifle round well suited to mid and large game in the Americas.
PRVI Partizan has a long history of producing the 7.62x54R round for use in its own nation’s arms – as the manufacturer of the state’s munitions since the founding of Yugoslavia as well as Serbia. That attention to detail has transferred completely to their line of commercial ammunition for hunting. Brass cases are also boxer primed for reloading purposes to shooters with hand loading equipment.
