Prvi Partizan - Soft Point - 150 Grain 270 Winchester Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The .270 Winchester was introduced in 1925, the result of necking down a .30-03/.30-06 cartridge in the effort of creating a flatter shooting, long range target and hunting cartridge. The result was a large, yet versatile cartridge that was promoted for everything from varmints to moose, depending on bullet weights. While not an immediate success, the cartridge became increasingly popular after World War II for both long range competitions and hunting. This may or may not have had something to do with the large amount of surplus .30-06 military rifles that were then sporterized into more commercial calibers. PRVI’s 150 grain soft point bullet has a muzzle velocity of 2837 feet per second with 2677 foot pounds of energy. It is a bullet intended for game up to and including moose and elk.
While founded as a military munitions maker in 1922 for the newly created government of Yugoslavia, PRVI in more recent decades has become a strong supplier of both sporting and less common calibers recognized for premium quality by shooters all over the world. PRVI Partizan offers all of its commercial rounds in boxer primed brass for further use to shooters who custom load their own cartridges.
