Prvi Partizan - Semi Jacketed Hollow Point - 158 Grain 357 Magnum Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
The 158 grain semi jacketed hollow point bullet loaded in this 357 magnum ammunition has a muzzle velocity of 1600 feet per second with 900 foot pounds of energy. This is ideal for personal defense and, with an appropriate carbine, deer hunting.
Serbia’s munitions manufacturer PRVI added the name Partizan to their branding after providing ammunition to Tito’s anti-German partisans during World War II. As a state run producer of ammo for the military, PRVI provides a standard that US shooters have come to appreciate, from initial performance to reloadable cases.
The .357 magnum was initially developed as a law enforcement round in 1934 to give police officers a competitive edge against heavily armed gangsters and the famous motorized bank robbers of the decade. Smith & Wesson fashioned the cartridge out of a lengthened .38 Special case so it could be used in the same style revolver that the police were already trained to use. Additionally, as all magnum rounds that followed, it has a larger primer to insure maximum powder burn at ignition. While the revolver has been largely replaced in LEO arsenals, the caliber remains very popular for hunting and personal defense either in the home or on the trail. Additionally, it is capable of being a mid-game hunting round.
