Details

Briefly used as the FBI’s standard service round as a replacement for the 9mm Luger in the late 1980’s, it was later adopted by the Bureau’s Hostage Rescue Team and SWAT teams for their use. The increased ballistic energy of the cartridge, introduced in 1983 by Jeff Cooper, became very popular with law enforcement and competition shooters who enjoy the stout recoil. The 180 grain, jacketed hollow point bullet by Partizan exits the muzzle at 1082 feet per second with 468 foot pounds of energy. This is designed for personal defense and use in law enforcement as well as use by sportsmen as a back up round while in the woods and not being the most dangerous hunter in the woods. This 500 round half case is good for training with the cartridge that will be used in the “real world.”

Partizan is the name PRVI adopted after World War II when the company was used by fighters against the German occupation of Yugoslavia. Today the company provides ammunition for the Serbian military as well as a sporting line is a commercial for export. PRVI’s cartridges are provided with boxer primers and are therefore fully reloadable.
