PRVI Partizan .308 ammunition enjoys a tradition of quality manufacturing that is not only almost 100 years old, but also can lay claim to providing ammunition to resistance fighters against the German occupation of Yugoslavia in World War II. Hence the name, Partizan.

When US forces became active in Afghanistan, it was quickly discovered that the 5.56 round lacked sufficient punch for the longer distances they were commonly engaged with by the enemy. The venerable 7.62x51 NATO rifles were quickly pulled out of mothball and updated to serve faithfully. And faithfully serve they have. These two factors come together in perfect harmony with this round here.

While the civilian .308 Winchester cartridge is loaded to slightly less pressure than the NATO round, this one here is also a hollow point, something that our servicemen are restricted from using in the field. The 168 grain hollow-point boat tail round has muzzle velocity of approximately 2600 feet per second packing a wicked and accurate punch out to 800 yards and beyond in the hands of a reasonably trained rifleman.
