Prvi Partizan - Full Metal Jacket Flat - 98 Grain 7.62 Nagant Ammo - 500 Rounds
Details
The 7.62x38R[immed] Nagant pistol cartridge is a unique chambering exclusively for the model 1895 military revolver. The bullet is seated inside the case with the edges crimped to hold it in place. The cylinder of the Nagant revolver moves forward when cocked to seat the forcing cone into its face, thus creating a gas seal. That seal is further ensured by the case crimp expanding out with the bullet when it is fired. This design, while a bit more complicated, is reputed to increase muzzle velocity by another 70-100 feet per second with military grade ammunition. It certainly helps reduce muzzle blast between the cylinder and the cone. This also makes the 1895 Nagant one of the few, if only, revolvers suitable for use with a suppressor. The 98 grain flat nosed, full metal jacket bullet by Partizan can leave the barrel at 738 feet per second with 119 foot pounds of energy. This product is designed for target shooting with the C&R firearm.
Partizan continues to offer what would otherwise be obscure ammunition and at a price that will not put the collectors of such chambered firearms into penury. What is more, PRVI offers these quality manufactured cartridges in boxer primed cases to help handloaders get more trigger time out of their prized pieces of history.
