Prvi Partizan - Full Metal Jacket - 85 Grain 7.63 Mauser Ammo - 500 Rounds
Details
The .30 Mauser, or 7.63X25 was developed for the C-96 “Broomhandle” platform of firearms in 1896 and continued to be used for several other firearms of German and Swiss manufacture shortly after. Its second great contribution is being the basis for the Russian 7.62 Tokarev round introduced in the 1930’s. While both cartridges are almost identical to each other, the Russian design is usually loaded to higher pressure and not suitable for use in older Mauser chambers. The latter, however, is safe to fire in Tokarev firearms. PRVI’s 85 grain full metal jacketed round has a stated muzzle velocity of 1509 feet per second and 560 foot pounds of energy. These are very close to the Russian specs and care should be taken to ensure any Mauser chambered firearm is in good working order. This half case lot is otherwise an asset to collectors of such Curios and Relics weapons.
Patizan ammunition is prized by both collectors and shooters for not only being one of the few modern manufacturers of ammunition for older designed firearms, but also for being the one that generally does not require the entire shooting budget just to get a few dozen rounds. Loaded onto boxer primed cases and non-corrosive powders and primers, PRVI offers initial shooting results as well as reloadable opportunities for extended value.
