Prvi Partizan - Flat Soft Point - 170 Grain 30-30 Winchester Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
Pretty much the universal caliber for deer, at least in North America, the .30-30 was introduced in 1895 by Winchester as their small caliber, smokeless powder cartridge for their new lever action rifle. The cartridge’s popularity was quickly recognized by Marlin as well as other manufacturers and the caliber continues to be a prominent round to this day for both hunting and property defense against predators of both four and two leg varieties. The 170 grain soft point bullet from PRVI has a muzzle velocity of 2227 feet per second and 1873 foot pounds of energy. It is ideal for hunting game from deer down to coyotes and has a proven reliability as not a bad choice for personal defense either.
PRVI PPU has been making ammunition since 1922 as the primary munitions plant for Yugoslavia. During World War II, much of the manufacturing capabilities were operated by Tito’s partisans against the German occupation, hence the adoption of the word into their name. Today it remains a principal provider for the Serbian military as well as commercial export. Partizan uses quality brass cases that are reloadable for additional value to those who enjoy handloading their own custom cartridges.
