This round’s 200 grain full metal jacket truncated cone projectile is somewhat unusual, but it’s good for all manners of target shooting. The bullet has a normal lead core and copper jacket, so it’s hard enough to feed efficiently and cannot attract a magnet. The FMJTC is shaped like a cone with its tip cut off, which is why it’s able to navigate a semi-auto pistol’s feed ramp just a little more reliably. And because the FMJTC has a wide, flat tip, it’s capable of punching holes that are easier to see uprange. That’s especially helpful if you’re scoring your shots and don’t want any ambiguity as to exactly where you’ve hit the target.
