Magtech - Semi Jacketed Hollow Point - 98 Grain 32 Smith & Wesson Long Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
While not a popular round today due to the availability of small revolvers in .38 and even .357, the .32 Smith & Wesson long inaugurated a new development in revolver design in 1896: the swing out cylinder. The cartridge also is the parent case for two other modern loads that still are used: the .327 Federal Magnum and the .32 H&R Magnum, making the caliber very versatile despite its “antiquity.” Still prized for its unusual accuracy, the .32 S&W Long puts shots on target and with potent loads keeps the older pistols a relevant personal defense tool. The 98 grain semi jacketed hollow point bullet by Magtech has a muzzle velocity of 778 feet per second with 132 foot pounds of energy. Not a manstopper by any means, but one of the more effective loads available in this chambering at close range or for pest control, bringing it to approximately a low recoil .38 special.
Since arriving on the market in 1990, Magtech has gained a reputation for reliable range and training ammunition. That reputation has expanded to a growing line of personal defense ammunition. Reloadable cases bring more value to shooters who have an interest in reloading this less common caliber of ammo.
