Magtech - Lead Semi Wadcutter - 158 Grain 38 Special Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
Smith & Wesson’s .38 Special was created as an improvement upon the .38 Colt which had proven itself underpowered in US military service during the late 1890s. While eclipsed by the .45 ACP for military service, the .38 Special did remain as a secondary choice, and in fact became the caliber selected by the US Army Air Force then its successors; the US Air Force and the Strategic Air Command. Starting in the 1920’s it became the primary law enforcement caliber and immensely popular among civilian shooters for both target and defense by virtue of its reliability and relatively easy recoil. The 158 grain semi wad cutter bullet by Magtech has a muzzle velocity of 755 feet per second with 200 foot pounds of energy. It is ideal for target shooting - making clean, crisp holes in paper targets - and training. The semi wadcutter bullet is ideal for use in tubular magazine carbines without fear of setting off the primer of the cartridge in front.
Since 1990 Magtech has bee offering quality range and training ammunition at economical costs to the consumer. Reloadable brass cases offer additional value for hand loading shooters. This 1000 case lot is ideal for stocking up for range or training day. Or simply keep on hand for JIC.
