Magtech - Lead Round Nose - 85 Grain 32 Smith & Wesson Ammo - 1000 Rounds
Details
When it was introduced in 1878, the .32 Smith & Wesson short was billed as a personal defense round: short and larger than the .22 caliber vest guns of the day, it offered both a visual deterrent and practical results over the black powder cartridges of the day. Even when loaded with smokeless powder, however, the cartridge offers little benefits when compared to modern rounds. Yet there were a great many pocket and break open revolvers made in this caliber and what fun are they if there is nothing to shoot out of them. Additionally, the .32 S&W Short is capable of being fired from firearms chambered in .32 S&W Long, .327 Federal Magnum and .32 H&R Magnum, making this stubby little round quite versatile and useful as a training and target shooting round out of those guns. The 85 grain round nosed lead bullet by Magtech leaves the muzzle at a velocity of 680 ft per sec with 87 ft lbs of energy.
As Magtech proceeds to broaden its product base shooters will continue to reap the benefits. This 1000 round case is perfect for keeping the old C&R guns running or for training with the modern firearms chambered in the hot magnum calibers without the wear, tear and noise that they generate. Further, the company offers its products on boxer primed, reloadable cases, for more value with this low-pressure cartridge.
