Hornady - V-MAX - 30 Grain 22 Magnum Ammo - 500 Rounds
Details
The .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire round was introduced in the early 1960s as a high performance rf round for target shooting and small game hunting. While the round was available in 1959, commercially made firearms were not available until 1962. The impressive energy this small round can generate has also become a contender for personal defense in small firearms suitable for concealed carry. The relatively nil recoil and potential for greater magazine capacity makes it a good choice for shooters with limited hand dexterity: making it a compact yet handy tool in the field, in the home or on the street. The 30 grain V-Max, polymer tipped bullet has a muzzle velocity of 2200 feet per sec with 322 foot lbs of energy. This is a high quality hunting or personal defense round, and with this 500 round lot, there is enough for both.
Hornady ammunition’s beginning were humble: making bullet jackets from spent rimfire brass during World War II, but since the 1960’s has been the benchmark of premium performance cartridges. Their patented V-Max round provides maximum results in accuracy to and expansion within the target to squeeze every bit of diameter and penetration capabilities the projectile has to offer.
