This cartridge is loaded with a heavy 75 grain bullet. That does mean a lower muzzle velocity (2,910 fps, 20” test barrel), but it also gives the bullet greater immunity to wind deflection – a must when you’re reaching way, way out there. The hollow point boat tail has a thin and concentric jacket, balanced one-piece lead core, and angled base which diminishes in-flight drag. By Hornady’s measure, the 0.395 G1 BC bullet will reach a 200-yard zero in 0.22 seconds and then drop just -7” at 300 yards.

Superformance Match ammo is loaded with specially formulated propellant.
