This 5.56x45 cartridge represents what happens when Lake City teams up with a superlative bullet manufacturer to make an affordable yet nonetheless hardworking round for our rifles. Hornady’s 55 grain projectile sports a full metal jacket for positive functioning in a semi-automatic and the preservation of accuracy. Good Stuff
I have gone through about half a case of this stuff. So far, so good with my Colt AR-15. I haven't sat down to get formal group sizes or any of that but I can't think of any malfunctions with it and accuracy seems at least as good as the PMC and Federal stuff I normally shoot. I'll definitely be back for more if the price stays cheap.
