Hornady - Flex Tip Technology - 140 Grain 357 Magnum Ammo - 250 Rounds
Details
Developed and introduced in 1934 by Smith & Wesson, the .357 magnum was developed from lengthening S&W’s .38 Special case and firing a slightly lighter bullet to achieve greater velocities, and therefore better penetration. The 357 mag was originally intended to be used for law enforcement but has since found great acceptance among sport shooters for target and hunting purposes. Capable of taking down fair sized deer from a carbine or rifle, the cartridge’s versatility continues to be explored and appreciated.
The FTX bullet by Hornady has a muzzle velocity of 1440 feet per second with 644 foot pounds of energy. Ideal for hunting or personal defense, this 250 round bulk lot allows for training with the field ammunition to minimize guess work and increase surety of performance.
Hornady’s Flex Tip Technology (FTX) bullet uses a polymer insert in the hollow point that both increases aerodynamics and accuracy while making the cartridge safe for use in tube magazine carbines and rifles without fear of setting of an accidental discharge. Since the 1960’s Hornady ammunition and components have been the go to for shooters who need each shot to count and their ammunition remains a benchmark against which all others and new firearms are measured.
