The V-MAX combines a spear-like polymer tip with a super-concentric AMP jacket to secure truly low-drag and rotationally stable in-flight performance. The bullet’s very light 40 grain weight does mean its G1 ballistic coefficient is comparably low at 0.200, but you’re still talking about a supremely flat trajectory. With 1.5” high sights, the V-MAX only has to rise 1.2” above the bore line before hitting a 200-yard zero. (Please note that a barrel twist of 1:14” or 1:16” is optimal for a 40 grain bullet.)

The V-MAX’s polymer tip doesn’t just make it more aerodynamic. Impact drives the tip’s shaft to the base of the bullet’s precision-formed nose cavity. Once it connects, it’s lights out for the quarry as explosive fragmentation breaks out.
