Federal Premium’s American Eagle Suppressor series 300 BLK ammunition is loaded with the long, heavy 220 grain bullets requisite to generate standard chamber pressure while delivering a low, low muzzle velocity of 1,000 fps. That’s ~125 fps slower than the speed of sound, so you’re bound to notice an astoundingly subtle report even if you’re not firing through a can!

This round’s bullet isn’t just heavy. As an open tip match, it is also highly accurate. The OTM isn’t built for terminal expansion, but you can count on its thin, concentric jacket and form-fitted lead core to give it great in-flight gyroscopic stability. The OTM’s flat jacketed base gives propellant gasses a nice even surface to shove against, and also does away with core aerosolization and resultant lead fouling.

This ammo promotes even cleaner performance courtesy of its propellant, which combusts fully in a short barrel so as to minimize carbon fouling.
