This is Federal Premium’s Law Enforcement series 12 Gauge 00 buckshot ammo. Like any other ammo for sale on CheapAmmo.com, you do not have to be a law enforcement officer to purchase these rounds!
This shell is loaded with nine pellets of 00 buck (i.e. 1-3/16 ounces of 0.33” diameter lead balls). The shot pellets are hard, so they’re due to penetrate deeply and deal lots of damage whether they collide with their target at super- of subsonic velocity. It’s double-aught. It leaves a mark.
This shell features one of Federal Premium’s most coveted components: the FliteControl Flex wad. It was developed to help waterfowl hunters put more shot on faraway targets, but its performance is no less ideal for defensive applications. Thanks to the FliteControl Flex’s rear-deploying fins, it cleanly separates from the shot column immediately after it passes the muzzle. Those same fins help the wad form a tighter seal against the barrel, and also enable it to safely pass through ported chokes without issue.
This ammo should function properly in all styles of shotguns, including AR-12 and other semi-automatics. Federal is one of the best in the business!
