The CPHP’s copper coating isn’t as thick as a traditional FMJ’s jacket, but it still does a good job of smoothing out feeding and lessening the buildup of lead residue. It’s a flat-shooting bullet, with a trajectory that ought to peak at 3.6” if you’re firing to 100 yards (assuming you’re using the rifle you’d need to get the advertised muzzle velocity). If your target happens to be a squirrel, crow, or any other smaller critter, the CPHP’s nose cavity will treat it to a dose of deadly terminal expansion.
