Details
CCI revolutionized the shell casing when they figured out how to heat treat small aluminum parts correctly. They went on to offer their Blazer brand of ammunition and win fans among budget conscious shooters everywhere. But not everyone wants to go without brass -- handloaders, in particular, who scoff at inflexible metal alternatives. Blazer has these connoisseurs covered with their Brass label ammo. With its easily replaceable Boxer primer, this cartridge is just like your grandpa used to shoot!
This 40 S&W round features 165 grain projectile. Its muzzle velocity is 65 fps faster than Blazer’s heavier 180 grain 40 S&W load, and its bullet drop is about two inches less at 100 yards because of it. A Blazer Brass FMJ also features a protected base, which prevents the fiery gasses produced upon ignition from evaporating the lead in its core. It’s a much cleaner shooting bullet because of this, and one you can make great use of at indoor ranges.
