DO NOT FIRE THIS AMMO IN A PISTOL CALIBER CARBINE. FIREARM DAMAGE AND SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY CAN RESULT!
You’d like to spend less on your 9mm range ammo – but you’re still heckbent* on buying American made. Rejoice, because Blazer’s ammo is loaded in the great state of Idaho with budget-friendly aluminum cases!
That’s right – aluminum cases. Aluminum is massively cheaper than the copper required to make brass, and you’re going to see that metallurgical fact nicely reflected in this ammo’s price tag. Just take note of a couple of important caveats before you choose this ammo. First, aluminum cases aren’t reloadable. Blazer actually gives this ammo noncorrosive Berdan primers as a way of deterring people from trying to reload it. Second, Blazer strongly advises against firing this ammo in carbines. Firearm damage and personal injury can result.
This ammo’s full metal jacket projectiles are perfectly normal: lead cores, nonmagnetic gilding metal jackets, and 1,145 fps muzzle velocities out of a 4” test barrel. The round nose FMJs are all you need to start punching holes through silhouettes and bullseyes. Better yet, its light 115 grain bullets and just barely supersonic muzzle velocity means this ammo won’t treat you to strong recoil.
*We don’t use the H-word here at CheapAmmo.com. It’s ungentlemanly. You can cuss all you want, though, because we don’t judge here at CheapAmmo.com, either.
