This cartridge’s bullet is a pointed soft point, specifically. It ends in a sharp meplat instead of a rounded one, which helps it streak downrange at faster velocities and reach its target with more oomph. It converts said oomph into quick terminal expansion thanks to its tip, which is bare lead that flattens down under force.

This round’s noncorrosive Boxer primer and low-soot propellant fire its 55 grain PSP at an advertised muzzle velocity of 3,100 fps. Not what most would consider ideal for deer, but again: your hunt, your rules (assuming you’re actually allowed to hunt deer with a .22 cal in your state). Armscor’s brass is still fresh as the day it was drawn, and it’s reloadable!
