Aguila - Full Metal Jacket - 110 Grain 30 Carbine Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
The .30 Carbine was developed in 1940 as the intermediate round between a full rifle and a sidearm for the US military. Derived from the .32 Winchester self-loading round, the .30 Carbine achieved impressive penetration capabilities and became popular enough to keep the M1 Carbine, the firearm developed around it, in military and commercial demand even today. While not as commonly utilized as other pistol calibers, the .30 carbine delivers impressive ballistics. This 110 grain, full metal jacket round has a muzzle velocity just shy of 2,000 feet per second and 968 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Sometimes considered a high velocity pistol round, firearm manufacturers have chambered several handgun models to fire this zippy round for target shooting and varmint hunting and even as a respectable self-defense in districts where hollow point defense ammunition is prohibited.
Manufacturing ammunition since 1961 in central Mexico, Aguila has a strong reputation for quality, especially with their rimfire line, that is readily discernable in their centerfire cartridges. Their arduous quality control is readily apparent in their brass cases that are fully reloadable with boxer type primers. A perfectly worthy cartridge for gramps' bring back carbine, or the perfect reason to go out and pick one up all your own.
