410 ga - 2-1/2" #8 Target - Fiocchi - 250 Rounds
Details
The .410 bore dates back to 1857 and became a potent choice for use in disguised guns such as canes. While a fraction of the size and shot capacity as the ubiquitous 12 gauge, the .410 serves its purpose with comparably reduced recoil. Today the shell is popular with novice and/or recoil sensitive hunters and, in varying loads, personal defense in the field or home against rodents and other, bipedal threats: it’s bore diameter is similar enough to the .45LC that several arms makers maker a firearm that can use both interchangeably. Fiocchi’s Exacta 2.5” shell is loaded with half an ounce of #8 shot which equates to 205 lead pellets measuring .09” in diameter at a muzzle velocity of 1250 feet per second. They are ideal for upland fowl and clay shooting for expert sportsmen.
The Italian munitions company Fiocchi began ammo manufacturing at the dawn of the munitions revolution brought on by the contained primer and metallic cartridge. In the last 150 years, it has been utilized by sportsmen and militaries alike, and today is manufactured in the US in cooperation with Smith & Wesson. The 250 shell case has introducing new shooters or simply spending an afternoon at the clays range in mind.
