Fiocchi Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) 150 Grain 300 AAC Blackout Ammo - 50 Rounds
Details
It seems obvious that the .300 AAC Blackout was designed to offer greater close-range ballistic performance than the standard 5.56mm NATO round, not just to be competitive with 7.62x39 but for use with the subsonic cartridges. This was because the tactical necessity of equal consideration was to find a cartridge that had better knockdown performance than the 9mm Luger in suppressed firearms. All from the same magazines and lower receiver as the standard AR15/M16/M4 lower receiver. Not suitable for full scale replacement of the 5.56 NATO round, it is nevertheless popular for specific spec ops applications and sportsmen looking for a heavier, close in round for their AR platform.
Fiocchi’s 150 grain boat tail, full metal jacket bullet have a muzzle velocity of 1925 feet per second with 1234 foot pounds of energy. This is ideal for range training and target shooting, especially for competitions, with a .300 AAC dedicated upper.
