300 AAC Blackout - 124 Grain FMJ - Sellier & Bellot - 500 Rounds
Details
Though it seems unlikely that the AR platform was heading towards any sort of market sunset, the .300 Blackout provided surety of the design’s popularity. Offering a larger caliber bullet for increased ballistic energy at close range, this cartridge was designed to make the M4 a close range competitor to the more commonly encountered AK47 and its 7.62x39 round. Though not the first candidate to attempt such a feat, the Blackout has been commercially successful as it even uses the standard 5.56/.223 magazine from the AR platform. Several companies have also offered bolt action rifles in the caliber as its hunting potential has been developed. S&B’s 124 grain, full metal jacket bullet has a muzzle velocity of 2165 feet per second with 1284 foot pounds of energy. This is a quality training and target shooting round.
Sellier & Bellot has been providing munitions and cartridges for almost two centuries: well established in both European sporting and military circles, the company continues to provide quality range and field ammunition through worldwide distribution of the CBC Group. This 500 round lot not only provides dependably performing cartridges, but also boxer primed, reloadable cases in a popular caliber that is only gaining market traction.
