Remington Hog Hammer TSX 150 Grain 30-30 Winchester Ammo - 20 Rounds
Details
The .30-30 Winchester was introduced in 1895 as Winchester’s first smokeless powder, small diameter rifle round. Quickly it was adopted by other arms makers because of its reliability and serviceability in multiple roles. It has since become ubiquitous as a deer hunting, as well as general all purpose, cartridge and remains one of the most popular, commercial, bottle necked rimmed cartridges on the market. Its general applications have also made it a popular choice for the potentially dangerous sport of hog hunting where instant effects are desired most fervently when being charged by hundreds of pounds of angry (and sharp tusked) pulled pork.
Remington’s Hog Hammer bullet in this 30-30 ammo is capable of leaving the muzzle at up to 2334 feet per second with 1816 foot pounds of energy. Still capable of dealing with deer, it is ideal for use in a lever action where quick follow up shots may be a necessity.
Remington’s association with trusted ammunition goes back to the company’s founding in 1816 when they started making firearms. Today the company continues to be a trusted name in ammunition design and production and is among the most common taken into the field in season. Remington brass, in this case nickel plated brass for smoother cycling, is boxer primed and among the most sought after by reloaders for their own custom rounds.
